UCC27322MDREP is an Enhanced Product (EP) single-channel high-speed low-side MOSFET driver from Texas Instruments, part of the UCC27322-EP family. The device delivers 9 A of peak drive current in an industry standard pinout. These drivers can drive the largest of MOSFETs for systems requiring extreme Miller current due to high dV/dt transitions.[reference:0][reference:1]
The UCC27322MDREP operates with a supply voltage range of 4 V to 15 V. Using a design that inherently minimizes shoot-through current, the outputs provide high gate drive current where it is most needed at the Miller plateau region during the MOSFET switching transition.[reference:2] A unique hybrid output stage paralleling bipolar and MOSFET transistors (TrueDrive™) allows efficient current delivery at low supply voltages.[reference:3][reference:4]
The device provides an enable (ENBL) function on pin 3, which was previously left unused in the industry standard pinout. ENBL is internally pulled up to VDD for active high logic and can be left open for standard operation.[reference:5] Latch-up and ESD protection circuits are also included.[reference:6] The EP designation indicates support for defense, aerospace, and medical applications with controlled baseline, extended product life cycle, extended product-change notification, and product traceability.[reference:7] The UCC27322MDREP is offered in an 8-lead SOIC (D) package and is rated for operation from –55°C to +125°C.[reference:8]
High-Peak Current Drive ±9 A peak drive current at the Miller plateau region using TrueDrive™ hybrid output stage.[reference:9]
Industry-Standard Pinout Standard pinout with addition of enable function on pin 3.[reference:10]
Enhanced Product (EP) Supports defense, aerospace, and medical applications with –55°C to 125°C temperature range and extended product life cycle.[reference:11]
