LT3045EDD#TRPBF is a high-performance low-dropout linear regulator from Analog Devices featuring Linear Technology's ultralow noise and ultrahigh PSRR architecture for powering noise-sensitive applications. Designed as a precision current reference followed by a high-performance voltage buffer, the LT3045 can be easily paralleled to further reduce noise, increase output current, and spread heat on the PCB.[reference:0]
The LT3045EDD#TRPBF operates with an input voltage range of 1.8V to 20V and delivers an adjustable output voltage from 0V to 15V.[reference:1][reference:2] It supplies 500mA at a typical 260mV dropout voltage.[reference:3][reference:4] Operating quiescent current is nominally 2.2mA and drops to less than 1µA in shutdown.[reference:5][reference:6][reference:7]
The device offers ultralow RMS noise of 0.8µVRMS (10Hz to 100kHz) and ultralow spot noise of 2nV/√Hz at 10kHz, with ultrahigh PSRR of 76dB at 1MHz.[reference:8] The LT3045's wide output voltage range maintains unity-gain operation, providing virtually constant output noise, PSRR, bandwidth, and load regulation, independent of the programmed output voltage.[reference:9] The regulator features programmable current limit, fast start-up capability, and programmable power-good to indicate output voltage regulation.[reference:10] The LT3045 is stable with a minimum 10µF ceramic output capacitor.[reference:11] The LT3045EDD#TRPBF is offered in a 10-lead DFN package with a 3.00mm × 3.00mm footprint and is rated for operation from –40°C to +125°C.[reference:12][reference:13][reference:14]
Ultralow Noise LDO 0.8µVRMS output noise (10Hz–100kHz) and 2nV/√Hz spot noise at 10kHz for noise-sensitive loads.[reference:15]
Wide VIN & Adjustable VOUT 1.8V to 20V input, 0V to 15V adjustable output with 500mA output current.[reference:16][reference:17]
Ultrahigh PSRR 76dB at 1MHz with virtually constant performance across the entire output voltage range.[reference:18]
