LT3045EMSE#TRPBF is a high-performance low-dropout linear regulator from Analog Devices featuring Linear Technology's ultralow noise and ultrahigh PSRR architecture for powering noise-sensitive applications.[reference:0] Designed as a precision current reference followed by a high-performance voltage buffer, the LT3045 can be easily paralleled to further reduce noise, increase output current, and spread heat on the PCB.[reference:1][reference:2]
The LT3045EMSE#TRPBF operates with an input voltage range of 1.8V to 20V and delivers an adjustable output voltage from 0V to 15V.[reference:3] It supplies 500mA at a typical 260mV dropout voltage. Operating quiescent current is nominally 2.2mA and drops to less than 1µA in shutdown.[reference:4][reference:5]
The device offers ultralow RMS noise of 0.8µVRMS (10Hz to 100kHz) and ultralow spot noise of 2nV/√Hz at 10kHz, with ultrahigh PSRR of 76dB at 1MHz.[reference:6][reference:7] The LT3045's wide output voltage range maintains unity-gain operation, providing virtually constant output noise, PSRR, bandwidth, and load regulation, independent of the programmed output voltage.[reference:8][reference:9] The regulator features programmable current limit, fast start-up capability, and programmable power-good to indicate output voltage regulation.[reference:10][reference:11] The LT3045 is stable with a minimum 10µF ceramic output capacitor.[reference:12][reference:13] The LT3045EMSE#TRPBF is offered in a 12-lead MSOP-EP package and is rated for operation from –40°C to +125°C.[reference:14][reference:15]
