LT3045IMSE#TRPBF is an I-Grade high-performance low-dropout linear regulator from Analog Devices featuring Linear Technology's ultralow noise and ultrahigh PSRR architecture for powering noise-sensitive applications. Designed as a precision current reference followed by a high-performance voltage buffer, the LT3045 can be easily paralleled to further reduce noise, increase output current, and spread heat on the PCB[reference:0].
The LT3045IMSE#TRPBF operates with an input voltage range of 1.8V to 20V and delivers an adjustable output voltage from 0V to 15V[reference:1]. It supplies 500mA at a typical 260mV dropout voltage[reference:2]. Operating quiescent current is nominally 2.2mA and drops to less than 1µA in shutdown[reference:3].
The device offers ultralow RMS noise of 0.8µVRMS (10Hz to 100kHz) and ultralow spot noise of 2nV/√Hz at 10kHz, with ultrahigh PSRR of 76dB at 1MHz[reference:4]. The LT3045's wide output voltage range maintains unity-gain operation, providing virtually constant output noise, PSRR, bandwidth, and load regulation, independent of the programmed output voltage[reference:5]. The regulator features programmable current limit, fast start-up capability, and programmable power-good to indicate output voltage regulation[reference:6]. The LT3045 is stable with a minimum 10µF ceramic output capacitor[reference:7]. The LT3045IMSE#TRPBF is offered in a 12-lead MSOP-EP package and is rated for operation from –40°C to +125°C as an I-Grade device[reference:8].
Ultralow Noise LDO 0.8µVRMS output noise (10Hz–100kHz) and 2nV/√Hz spot noise at 10kHz for noise-sensitive loads[reference:9].
Wide VIN & Adjustable VOUT 1.8V to 20V input, 0V to 15V adjustable output with 500mA output current[reference:10].
Ultrahigh PSRR 76dB at 1MHz with virtually constant performance across the entire output voltage range[reference:11].
