UC2834DW is a high-performance linear regulator controller from Texas Instruments (formerly Unitrode) optimized for the design of low input-output differential linear regulators. The UC2834DW is equally usable for either positive or negative regulator designs, with both positive and negative precision references enabling either polarity of regulator implementation.[reference:1] A current sense amplifier with a low, adjustable threshold can be used to sense and limit currents in either the positive or negative supply lines.[reference:2]

This device includes a fault monitoring circuit which senses both under and over-voltage fault conditions.
